Sunny is always a great presenter and it was very interesting seeing the history of birth registration. The problems with slow compliance in US is not something I had thought about much, as most of my research is UK based. Definitely something to consider and potentially a great source of additional information if you find a delayed registration.
The information Sunny presented is amazing and explains clearly why these vital records cannot be found. The state and local government levels were really derelict in performing their official duties. Even poor countries did a better job.
Excellent presentation explaining why records may be hard to find but also offering ways to find them!
