   A wonderful webinar. I learned a lot and will not try to find my fathers WW2 Merchant Marine records. Thank you.\n\nAlways a great presentation for Michael! More of excellent info. Great delivery!\n\nEven without a membership, I gathered great information and ideas for researching my uncle's service in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Fortunately, my Dad a WWI Marine in the Pacific, decided that the best way to learn Spanish was to join the Merchant Marine and travel on a banana boat to Panama. He had a great adventure before returning to Boston to pursue his college education. I have photos of him on the boat and his MM id card.

   Michael always does a fantastic job. Thank You Legacy for having him present.\n\nMichael had so much information to share. His presentation was logical and easy to follow. I will want to watch/listen to this video again, there was too much information to remember it all.\n\nMichael was informative and kept my interest with his slides and narrative.\n\nMichael, thank you for another very educational and resource abundant webinar!!!\n\nMichael, you are always great! Awesome presentation. Thank you.\n\nMy uncle was in the Merchant Marine in World War II, serving as a radio operator. I was so excited for this topic to be presented! It was great to find out about the many resources that are available.\n\nSo much great info on the U.S. Merchant Marines\n\nThank you that was so interesting. I learned many things I did not know.\n\nThank you. It is so helpful to learn where information could possibly be. I appreciate the detail and information shared.\n\nThanks for all the info. Another great helpful presentation.\n\nThanks, very interesting from an Australian who has no known relative in the US Forces. This session has helped me understand it's history etc.... which hopefully I will use one day!!!\n\nThis was a great recap of our merchant fleet from the very beginning and well detailed through the 20th century. Thank you so very much. My father was in the Merchant Marines from mid 1944 thru the end of 1949 and very proud of his tenure for our country, tho he spoke very little about it. I'm sure it was not always a safe time he was going thru and just did not want my mother or us children to think or know about it. In the 1960's and 1970's he was back at sea for steamship companies hauling to Vietnam\n\nThis was an excellent presentation! Sooooo very informative! Michael Strauss' presentations are always excellent.
