I already use TextExpander a lot in transcribing but I still learned a lot here, and it inspired me to start using features I knew about but hadn't used. Thank you so much! This was one of the most useful webinars I've attended.
I use TextExpander for work and figured this webinar would give me ideas of a few snippets I can use for genealogy. But I've learned so many tips and tricks that will help me on the work side of things as well! So handy!
Very good presentation. I would just like to note that many of the functions of Text Expander are already present in WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, etc and indeed LEGACY itself (e.g. templates, automatic date expansion, master lists). For someone spending a lot of time on repetitive tasks, like Christine in her business, the location of all these aids in the one piece of software is a clear advantage; for the occasional genealogist, I am not so sure the time-saved to set-up time ratio is quite as beneficial.
