About this webinar

Most people are familiar with the baptism, marriage and burial records found in parish records but there are many other wonderful parish records that can help in genealogical research. These include Vestry minutes, Churchwarden Accounts, settlement certificates, examinations and removal orders, Parish poor rates and relief distribution, Parish apprenticeships, parish payments for work done within the parish, parish assisted emigration and more.

    A wonderful insight into what is available in Parish Records. Thank you to Helen, Geoff and Legacy.\n\nAmazing information so few people know about. Going to be so great. Already I have searched the Rathven, Scotland Parish and found my great grandfather who was illegitimate and am requesting that someone search for a record of his father. Yahoo!\n\nCame in late, so will watch again. Thank you so much from an Aussie downunder with mostly UK ancestors.\n\nexcellent - so informative and easy to follow\n\nExcellent - so informative and interesting.
