Expected most on PR records and sources, not US. Helping a friend with her PR ancestry and this webinar (the PR history and records part) was VERY helpful. Big thank you, Barb.
very thorough--i sincerely hope you can find someone to do one on genetic genealogy in PR soon, too!! it's SO hard!!
Very helpful with this specific population
Loved it. Firstimer. Learned a good deal that’s useful. Thanks for so much info in a short time.
I was looking more for info and how to find it in PR, not stateside. Although as I think about it, my family came through NYC in the 40's and some stayed. Perhaps there is info (in English) on documents in the states that will lead me to what/where/when I'm trying to find in PR. I don't speak Spanish. Looks like I may take a trip to Utuado and check out the church records, if they'll let me.
Brilliant webinar packed full of important information for those tracing their family ancestral members from Puerto Rico. It is a must watch again to get the most from this presentation. Also the Handout and Chat log will provide further information to compliment the speakers presentation.
Excellent coverage of places to look for information in both the U.S, and in Puerto Rico and wonderful resources provided. Loved it!
Great presentation!
