Maps and modern color photography really enhanced the presentation.\n\nneed more detail of where to find resources but very interesting.\n\nnever realised how useful all kinds of maps can be :)\n\nNice overview of the mapping resources available.\n\nPaul always does a great a thorough presentation\n\nPaul helped so much with finding maps and then how to decipher them. Thanks to all who made this happen.\n\nPaul is a great speaker - I have heard him in person a number of times in Sydney, Australia and you always learn something. I would listen to him on any topic!\n\nPaul is always an excellent speaker/teacher. He covers the topics well and slowly enough to take notes and see what he's talking about. I'm going directly to look at the National Library of Scotland website!\n\nPaul is one of my favorite lecturers on Englsih research. He is very knoweldgeable and adds a lot of local color to his presentations. Unfortunately I had a driver deliver goods during the broadcast so I'm looking forward to printing out the syllabus & listening to the whole broadcast again (& then getting a map, or 2 or 3......). Thank you for another wonderful webinar.\n\nAlthough I actually find maps very boring, I found the presentation to be excellent. The speaker spoke clearly and not too fast and I learnt some interesting things. -However I found it very amusing that he stated the area in England where his accent was from - to me it sounded definitely like a US accent. ;-). \n\nAmazing! More please!\n\nAnswered some questions about my Scottish and Irish ancestry. The info on maps was excellent and helpful. Opens a whole new area of research.
