Census enumerations offer invaluable snapshots of families, but like any record, can lead researchers astray. Names may be mangled, ages fudged, or individuals or families be enumerated twice – or not at all. This entertaining presentation follows a Norwegian immigrant family forward and backward in time to untangle the makeup of a 1910 Minnesota family.

This was a very good webinar. Just like one of my rabbit holes.
Really enjoyable and thought provoking lecture. Thank you.
Love this. thanks!
Very detailed and inspirational! I now have another approach to solving a brickwall!
Thanks, Jay. for a great lecture. It really helped me see your 3-D Genealogy concept very well. How you made all these connections still doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but I'll watch the lecture again and more pieces should fit into the puzzle.
This is amazing research and shows a great deal of imagination on the part of Mr. Fonkert. The changes in family names and locations would baffle any genealogist.
Excellent presentation. The tables are so helpful in making sense of the conflicting information.
Amazing how you figured all this out. Not only entertaining, but insightful. Thanks
