Do you have a picture in your mind of your grandmother’s kitchen? What did she have? Do you remember her aprons, dishes, or that meat grinder that was mounted to the counter? Did you inherit something and wish you knew more about it? In this presentation we will take a look at the material culture of the kitchen and where you can find information about those items you remember and inherited.

Loved LOVED LOVED!! Not just for the great ideas, but I feel like my passion of owning and using every day items from my grandparents and my greats is not such a weird idea!
Late in the night but I enjoyed this very much. Thank you!
This was such a fun and informative webinar - my favorite of the four I have attended so far. I have a lot of ephemera from my parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents, so this gives me a whole new avenue for research.
very interesting and informative. I wished that some of my items from long ago hadn't broken.
Gina is great
Loved the presentation will use her resources to research some items I have.
Interesting concept to include descriptions or photos of treasured items found in Mom's or Grandma's kitchen. I like it.
This was a fun webinar. I took part in this class just out of curiosity. It spurred my thinking about applying this same process of research to my father's tools. As an elder, I now know my younger family members don't have a clue about what some of their great grandfather's tools were used for. I can apply Gena's guidance to a different area and I am sure will yield me results! And re: my great grandmother's plates? I am using Gena's techniques for researching those as well!
