Was impressed by the speakers knowledge base. Wish he'd mentioned his own foreign language facility and how he picked up familiarity in the written and spoken languages. Appreciated the speaker emphasizing the importance of all documents - even more recent ones that lead you back on a timeline, and collecting/saving the documents when you first encounter them. Good geography lesson and really a whirlwind tour of changing boundaries from the beginning of the 20 century up to current time.

Wow, great history lesson and also how to use maps in your research. I have been researching in Poland for my son-in-law and found this very interesting.
