The land now known as British Columbia has been inhabited for many centuries, but most genealogical records started after the 1858 Gold Rush, which prompted many arrivals from California. This session will enable researchers to make the most of those sources, and build a better understanding of your family’s connections to British Columbia.

Enjoyed his use of case studies and really appreciated his comment about searching addresses in newspapers. I never thought of that one!
I don't have any Canadian ancestors or relatives, but found this presentation very interesting, and I bookmarked a lot of his sites for just future reference.
Thanks for your help!
