It’s so exciting! You’ve just received a new certificate and have new family names. There’s so much new research to do and before you know it it’s 2am and somehow you missed dinner. Finding new family can be exciting, but sometimes it pays to slow down and plan your research.

Great information. I wish I had gone slow from the start but never too late to go slow - and clear the backlog!
This webinar is just what I needed to hear today!
Such excellent content and advice, thanks, Fiona! I need to be pulled up on this regularly... I definitely need to slow down!
Fabulous information and ideas on slowing down your research and keeping focused.
great tips about software options
Oh the joys of shiny things! I laughed when Fiona spoke of this because I, for sure, fall down that rabbit hole more than I care to admit. Fiona puts everything into perspective with ease. Excellent examples of research questions being too broad. I also love the use of the acronym SMART, which is one we used in the military leadership schools. Much praise to Fiona!
Fiona's method of doing a research plan really resonated with me, even though I've heard the same thing from others, I feel like I finally get it!! Thank you for a great presentation!!
Very valuable information to make the research more structured.
